The band Pingwiny ("The Penguins") was active in the years 1968-1969 as the band of the Kraków-Podgórze House of Culture, playing at special-occasion and open-air events on May Day, 22 July, Miners' Day (Barbórka), St Andrew's Eve, New Year's Eve and others in the house of culture's programme.
