A band formed by Jacek Mastykarz that played in student clubs in Kraków in the years 1965-1972. Most of its musicians came from the earlier band KOLIBER. The band's new name contains the last digit of the year in which it was formed.
In the early period the band's repertoire included covers of songs by groups such as The Shadows, The Outlaws, The Ventures.
At first it was based at the "Budowlani" club on Rydlówka Street. The use of the club came with an obligation for the band to play whenever the club asked; next it was based at the "Artigraph" club, where once a week it played at evenings for young people. The next club in which the band played was "Zaścianek", where it played the longest - until the very end of its existence, that is until 1972.
