The band was formed in 1966 in Kraków on the initiative of the siblings Krystyna, Adam (ex-Krakusy), Stanisław and Ryszard Korzeniak.
They started out at the housing cooperative club in Dębniki, and later, for nearly five years, performed in student clubs. Bratki ("The Pansies") also played in turn with Szwagry at the prestigious "Pod Jaszczurami" club.
Young people from all over Kraków danced to their music. At the review of bands in Nowa Huta they won a distinction, together with Wawele, who were also just starting out. The group never managed to make any radio recordings.

NOSTALGIA

I love my Kraków
My native city
Every alley and every corner
This is where my name began.

The children's theatre in the Cellar on the A-B line
Art classes there as well
All of it - of course - I remember.

I long, beyond return, for the moments sung out
So strongly encoded in my heart
In all the student clubs of Kraków
Where the young people of that time had their fun
The young people of the sixties.

The beat groups "Krakusy" and "Bratki"
To whose rhythm danced
Those who today are in their fifties.

Krystyna Korzeniak-Adamik
